Presenter Bio

Dr Nerina has spent over a quarter of a century helping people to heal by sleeping deeply. Although, originally trained as an academic physiologist, the core of her teachings comes from her own long standing issues with sleep, a breakdown/breakthrough experience in which she was hospitalised, and a subsequent spiritual awakening in 1998. Years later, in a bizarre twist of fate, she was headhunted to work for a decade at the Nightingale Clinic where she had been a patient years before. Here she gained experience working with people suffering from extreme mental health problems and insomnia which gave her the confidence to write the first of four books 'Tired But Wired'. She has continued to deliver her unique blend of science, spirituality and practical tools - always with a good dose of humour - to large gatherings around the world including corporate events, festivals (most recently Happy Place Festival 2023, Stylist 2023), TV and radio. She believes that her message is simple but profound - that we sleep deeply when we feel safe. Her methodology is based on helping people to find practical and effective ways of doing this and, in the process, coming home to themselves.
