Raised by her single mother, on a West London council estate, where “schools housed us rather than engineered our minds for greatness”; Keeley is a British- Jamaican psychotherapist, who has defied the odds. She started adulthood as a mother of two, working as a cashier at Ikea, whilst trapped in an abusive relationship with a narcissistic partner. Self-help books became her only place of solace as she battled to make sense out of a humiliating situation. Having left school with no formal qualifications and little self-belief, reading self-help material profoundly inspired Keeley. She desired a better life; a more fulfilling career and to break destructive intimate relationship cycles. No longer content just surviving, she wanted more. She knew her potential was untapped and her relationship crisis presented an opportunity to question her direction. Slowly, she began to make better choices and education soon became a transformative tool for personal change. Her greatest ambition, was to inspire others to break destructive relationship cycles, but before she could help anyone, she had to save herself. Step by step, brick by brick, she changed her life and defied the odds.
