Presenter Bio

Justine teaches a traditional style of yoga, guided by motivating music with a strong, steady beat.

Her classes place a strong emphasis on bandha (energy locks), breath, and drishti (focused gaze) and alignment with plenty of opportunities to explore arm balances and inversions. Having trained with three of Rocket Yoga founder Larry Schultz's most experienced students and teacher training facilitators, Justine teaches classic Rocket Yoga while wholeheartedly embracing the Rocket philosophy of "Function over form."

Her Vinyasa classes are deeply rooted in Ashtanga Yoga, with variations and modifications to suit all body types and levels. In contrast, her Yin Yoga classes create a deeply stilling experience, holding space for students to fully relax and find their edge in each position.

Justine has completed extensive training in Ashtanga Vinyasa with advanced Ashtanga practitioner Ryan Spielman, Rocket Yoga 1 & 2 with Amber Jean and Amme Poulton at Triyoga, and upper-level courses in Rocket and Yin Pattern Work & Philosophy, Yin & Chakras, Yin & the Elements with Jamie Clarke from The Yoga People. She has also trained in Breathwork with Within Yoga School, covering functional breathing, pranayama, and Conscious Connected Breathwork. Her love of music led her to complete 4-Beat Music and Yoga with Marcus Veda and Hannah Whittingham at The Good Life Yoga School.

Justine continues her professional development through advanced Rocket Yoga, Ashtanga practice, and energy studies with Amme Poulton/Raja Rocket/Rocket Yoga Academy.

Her yoga journey began in 1998 with regular Ashtanga, Hatha, and Iyengar practices before she followed her calling to teach. As someone who initially struggled with flexibility, she understands what it feels like to be in a room full of naturally bendy people. Over the past three decades, Justine has combined her passion for yoga and yoga philosophy, including Tantra with her interest in anatomy & the energetic body, to create a distinctive Vinyasa style. Her classes are designed to empower students to trust their inner strength and embrace the process.

For Justine, yoga is not about achieving perfect poses but about embarking on a lifelong journey of growth, patience, and self-discovery.
