Why train to become a sound healer?
Stress reduction is one of the most important results of receiving sound therapy. Stress is the underlying cause of many physical conditions and it melts away with ease when you are bathed in a sea of sound healing vibrations. As we are seeking healthy alternatives for combating stress, pain, and illness, we should reconsider the Ancient wisdom of Sound Therapy. SINGING BOWLS: A Singing Bowl is a metallic bowl made from several alloys, copper, tin, zinc, iron, lead, gold, silver and mercury. The sound is produced by striking the surface with a mallet or by rubbing its rim with a special wooden mallet covered with suede. Singing Bowls give long sustained over- tones, undertones and reverberate with delicate yet intense vibrations.
Develop a deep understanding and practical knowledge of the Singing Bowls whilst enhancing your every day activities, personal/professional yoga and meditation practice.
Please note, you do not need to buy a separate entry ticket to the festival as a four-day festival pass, worth £50, is included in the price.
Why train in sound healing at MBS Festival?
This special one-day workshop will allow us to explore and experience the Art of Singing Bowls, learning the unique techniques of playing/singing these magical Singing Bowls, their application and placement, developed by Anne over two decades.
We will focus on experiencing the sound and its effect upon the body and environment, followed by a demonstration of the technique, followed by hands on practice. Working in small groups, we will practice and explore, constantly refining these newly learnt skills. We will be guided by Anne, who will skillfully and lovingly share the Art of Singing Bowls. Anne will supply us with Singing Bowls, so no need to have your own singing bowl but are welcome to bring any bowls you have.

What students say ....
“I have only the highest praise for Anne Malone and her course on Sacred sound! It was one of the most enjoyable and beneficial courses I have ever attended. I learnt so much from but also, at the end of every session I felt so rested, like I had been on a little retreat! Anne has such a warm heart and a brilliant sense of humour which made everyone attending feel so comfortable and made it such a great experience! I can now confidently give a full sound bath but also have lots of little tricks to bring into my yoga classes especially during Savasana to make it even more relaxing for my students. If you are thinking of attending this course, don’t hesitate, you will enjoy every second!” Julie C, Sacred Sound Teacher Training, Feb 2020 Certification:
